BASSED ON A TRUE STORY CD RELEASE
On August 1st Hudson released his sophomore CD "Bassed On A True Story". Packed with upbeat Jazz and even an occasional cover tune (Square Biz & Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls) this CD has been described as having "Something for all occasions, no matter what mood your in" -Fan. This CD piggy-backs Hudson's first solo CD "Bassically Yours". This CD features the lavish horn lines of Russell Gunn and the sultry vocals of Tasha Larae (of Arrested Development).

HUDSON: FEATURED ACTOR IN THE HIT STAGE PLAY "IS UNCLE PETE REALLY DEAD?"
Hudson plays the roll of "Jean Benard", a loving husband to counter part and wife in this rediculously funny stage play. This is Hudson's second featured stage play. In the first play "A Well Dressed Lie" Hudson On Bass played the Lead roll of a cheating husband in this drama filled production. Hudson was also the featured Bassist in the movie "The Preacher's Kid". Hudson was called by one movie director "The Artist Who Does It All".

On August 31st Hudson On Bass will be featured at the Decatur Book Festival, one of Georgia's largest book festivals. On an annual basis the Decatur Book Festival houses more than 10,000 people during the course of just two days. Hudson will sponsored by Book Logix Book Publishing at this prestegious festival. Hudson will have on display, the first book "Why Play Piano?"of his new book series the "Why Play Books". Why Play Piano? is the first book of this wonderful encyclopedia of music books written by the Author/Actor/Musician/Producer Hudson On Bass.
